2019 Volunteer Welfare and Efficiency Survey

Welcome to the fourth Tasmanian Volunteer Fire Brigades Association (TVFBA) Volunteer Welfare and Efficiency Survey.

Please take the time to complete this survey, which should only take around 10 minutes and helps to formulate the associations work for the coming year. The survey results are used to help in lobbying government and assessing what matters most to volunteer firefighters in Tasmania.

This survey is being hosted by Volunteer Fire Brigades Victoria (VFBV) on behalf of TVFBA for Tasmanian Fire Service (TFS) Volunteers.

The Council of Australian Volunteer Fire Associations (CAVFA) is the collective voice representing 11 volunteer fire brigade associations across Australia. CAVFA members, of which one is TVFBA, introduced a nationwide Volunteer Welfare & Efficiency Survey for all fire service volunteers in 2016 and over 6,100 volunteers took part in the first year.

This strong response rate has continued for the second and third surveys held in 2017 and 2018.

Your responses are confidential, analysed independently and the overall trends carefully studied.
